An Air Force officer is accused of various financial crimes and held past his term of service for a court-martial. Mr. Cave and Mr. Freeburg are retained and investigate the case, preparing defenses. Finally, when confronted with the lack of evidence the Air Force dismisses the case and the officer leaves services honorably without ever going to trial!

U.S. v. E-7, United States Air Force.
An airman is accused of assault and battery and disorderly conduct for an altercation at a bar and in a parking lot. The command attempts to offer the airman nonjudicial punishment but Cave & Freeburg, LLP, is retained and Mr. Freeburg investigates the case. After reviewing and analyzing the evidence with Mr. Freeburg, the airman declines nonjudicial punishment and demands trial by court-martial. Instead of taking the case to trial, the Air Force dismisses the charges!
Result: Charges Dismissed. No Federal Conviction, No Dishonorable Discharge.
